The Image Manager stores reusable images, such as body diagrams, for your team to use in progress notes. To add a photo to one note, upload it directly from the note editor.
Permissions
Manage shared-library permissions under Settings → Roles & Permissions → Image Manager:
image-manager:store — upload shared-library images
image-manager:delete — delete shared-library images
If an upload option is missing, ask a Staff Admin or Super Admin to check your role permissions. Direct note photos require permission to edit that note.
Add a Photo to One Note
Open an editable progress note and place the cursor where you want the photo.
Open Add Image from the editor toolbar.
Click Upload photo from device and select your photo.
Wait for the upload to finish. The photo is inserted at your saved cursor position. Confirm that the note shows Saved before you sign or print it.
The photo is compressed automatically and stored with the note. It does not appear in the shared Image Manager library. You can still annotate the photo and reset its annotations.
Use an Existing Library Image
Open Add Image in the note editor.
Find the image in the Image Manager library and click its + button.
Use the existing annotation tools to draw on the image when needed.
Upload a Shared Library Image
Go to Settings → Image Manager.
Click Upload image and select a PNG, JPEG, or WebP file.
After upload, the image is available for staff to select in progress notes.
Only users with image-manager:store can upload library images. New library images are resized automatically. Existing stored images are unchanged.
You can also click Upload library images in Settings from the note picker. Settings opens in a new tab. After uploading, return to the picker and click Refresh library.
Shared-library uploads are now in Settings. The note editor and addendum image picker select existing library images; they no longer upload images to the shared library.
Delete a Shared Library Image
Go to Settings → Image Manager.
Click the red X at the top-right corner of the image you want to remove.
Important: This action cannot be undone. Only users with image-manager:delete can delete library images.
