This guide explains how front desk staff can generate kiosk codes and verify intake form status directly inside Mindbody — without logging into QuickerNotes.
Overview
QuickerNotes supports short code automations inside Mindbody appointment notes.
When enabled, typing a supported short code will trigger an automation and insert results directly into the Mindbody note for staff visibility.
Enable Appointment Note Short Codes (Required)
Before using short codes, this setting must be enabled.
How to Enable -
Go to Settings.
Open Property.
Locate Enable Appointment Note Short Code Automations.
Toggle the setting On.
Click Save.
Once enabled, Mindbody appointment notes can trigger QuickerNotes automations.
Generate a Kiosk Code from Mindbody
Front desk staff can generate a kiosk code directly from the Mindbody appointment note.
How to Use -
Open the client’s appointment in Mindbody.
Go to the Appointment Note section.
Type:
QN:GKKSave the appointment note.

What Happens
When saved, the system will:
Generate a kiosk access code for the client (if the form has not been completed).
Indicate whether the client’s intake form has been completed.
Insert the kiosk code and status directly into the Mindbody note.

Why This Matters
This workflow allows front desk staff to:
Verify intake form completion status
Generate kiosk access codes
Avoid logging into QuickerNotes
Stay entirely within Mindbody
It streamlines check-in and reduces system switching during busy front desk workflows.
Best Practice
Use QN:GKK during client check-in to:
Confirm form completion.
Issue kiosk access if needed.
Keep documentation visible in the Mindbody appointment note.
