Signature Settings

Modified on Wed, Nov 12 at 6:36 PM

QuickerNotes allows you to customize how your signature appears on completed progress notes. By default, your signature will display as your first and last name pulled from your Mindbody staff profile.

You can customize this in two ways:

  1. Add a handwritten signature, and

  2. Add custom text, such as credentials, titles, or NPI numbers.

All signature settings are located in the Profile section under Settings.

Handwritten Signature

You can replace the default text signature with a saved handwritten signature. Once saved, this signature will appear on all newly completed progress notes.

If you update your handwritten signature later, older notes will keep the original version, while all new documents will use the updated one.

How to Add a Handwritten Signature

  • Go to Settings → Profile.

  • Under Progress Note Settings, click Create Signature.

  • Use your mouse, finger, or stylus to draw your signature on the signature pad.

  • Choose Clear, Save, or Cancel as needed.

Custom Signature Text

You can add text beneath your signature — commonly used for:

  • NPI numbers

  • Professional titles (e.g., FNP-C, DPT, L.Ac.)

  • License numbers

  • Credentials

How to Add Custom Signature Text

  • In Settings → Profile, go to the Custom Signature section.

  • Enter the text you want to appear under your signature in the Custom Signature Text field.

  • Click outside the text box to save.

This text will appear under both the default text signature and any handwritten signature you’ve created.

Notes

  • Each user manages their own signature and custom text. These settings cannot be shared across accounts.

  • Updating your handwritten signature or custom text does not affect previously completed notes.
