Expiration settings allow you to require a client to complete a fresh version of a form after a certain number of days. This ensures that client information stays current over time.
How Expiration Works
A client completes the intake form.
After the number of days you specify, that submission is considered expired.
If the client books another appointment after the expiration window, and that appointment triggers this form, a new form will be generated and emailed based on your Send Rules.
Important:
Expiration does not automatically send a new form on its own.
It only affects future form creation when a client books again.
How to Set Intake Form Expiration
Go to Settings → Intake Form Templates.
Select the template and click Edit.
Scroll to the Send Rules section.
Configure the services that should trigger this form.
Once a triggering service is selected, enable the Does this form expire? option.
Enter the number of days before the form expires.
Click Save.

Typical Uses
Expiration is commonly used for:
Annual health history updates
Quarterly consent renewals
Insurance-required renewals
State-mandated compliance windows
